Served as a Civil Affairs Operations Soldier at various units within US Army Civil Affairs (CA), as well as the US Army JFK Special Warfare Center and School. He has fulfilled a variety of positions including CA Team Leader, Company First Sergeant, Company and Battalion Operations, Special Operations Forces Instructor, and his final position as Battalion Command Sergeant Major before retiring.
